FacilitiesThe Bush Story Trail
A one kilometre walk trail has been enhanced with bush tucker and medicine plants and traditional structures (mia-mia).
Tool Making Workshop and Spear Throwing
Society and Culture, Law and Decision Making and History. Subjects: Hunters and Gatherers; tools for cooking, hunting, collecting water and carrying food, the making of tools, use of natural resources, stone axes and spears.
Throwing of spears and boomerangs in a controlled environment. This is optional; depending upon students age and deportment.
Art, Music and Dance
Law and Decision-making; History; Society and Culture. Art, face painting and interactive stories, dance and music. Dreaming through song, dance, music and ceremonial body painting. Use of ochre and natural resources for painting and blow painting. Didgeridoo and clapping stick demonstrations and participation. Children are encouraged to join in traditional dance.
