Details
A Trial Instructional Flight is the most enjoyable way to find out what flying a light aircraft yourself is really like.At the same time you will be able to relish the incredible views of our shoreline, beaches and the amazing colours of the ocean in Geographe Bay.
During a short pre-flight briefing you will be told about the aircraft, how it flies and how you are able to control it.
Then follows a flight of about one hour during which you will have the opportunity to take control of the plane. Your instructor will demonstrate how the controls are used to affect the flight and then it will be your turn! During more difficult manoeuvres, the instructor will fly, but you will be able to follow through on the controls.
You will have the chance to take photographs during the flight of the stunning views of the scenic coastline.
Your flight will be either in a low-wing Evektor SportStar or a high-wing Aeroprakt Foxbat. You can see more information on these planes on our website: busseltonaeroclub.com.au.
It is generally warm in the aircraft, so you are unlikely to need a jacket. Ladies should bring low-heel shoes and avoid short skirts.
Your friends or partners are welcome to use the club facilities whilst you are flying.
Cancellation Policy
If you elect to cancel your flight within 24 hours of departure a 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
