Introducing your new friend the beer growler. Odd name, great idea, stemming back from the good old days when people used to take home their favourite beer in a pail, the sloshing was said to make a growling noise.Growlers are the perfect way to seal in the freshness of two litres of your favourite pint and take it away. Theyre reusable so they are environmentally friendly and let you enjoy beers that you cant get in the bottle or maybe you can but theyre just so much better out of the tap.Growlers are available at Eagle Bay Brewing Co and The Pour House Bar + Kitchen, and the great news is they can be filled at either venue.
