DetailsThe West Australian Prendiville family proudly owns Sandalford Wines. Operating from two properties including our Margaret River vineyard, Sandalford was founded in 1840 in the Swan Valley. Today the main source of grapes comes from the Margaret River Estate located in the famous Wilyabrup Valley. Established in 1971 the vineyard boasts some of the oldest vines in the region. Winemaker Paul Boulden produces a diverse range including the multi-award winning premium Sandalford wines, the newly created medium bodied Protege wines, the popular Element drink-now styles and exceptional fortifieds.
The view, when visitors enter the property, is of a cosy rammed earth cellar door building surrounded by a quaint cottage garden. The friendly, comfortable environment provides the perfect setting to taste and learn about wines. Patrons are also encouraged to picnic within the beautiful surrounds making the most of the complimentary barbecue facilities and enjoying their favourite wine available by the bottle or glass.
The world of wine can be intimidating to many. At Sandalford, the intention is to ensure that visitors feel comfortable with wine and receive exceptional service. This includes providing free delivery for case wine sales anywhere in Australia. Sandalford will also help freight other wines purchased throughout the region at an affordable rate.
