If you are looking for the perfect swimming beaches then you have come to the right place! Busselton and Dunsborough are home to some of the most beautiful beaches in Australia! Whether it is to watch a sunset, enjoy an early morning dip or just enjoy the salt air, the tranquil waters of Geographe Bay provide the perfect location!

From Busselton to Dunsborough stretches the white sandy beaches of the bay, providing many wonderful spots to relax and have some fun!

Busselton Beachfront - Located near Busselton’s central business district; the Busselton Beachfront is protected by Geographe Bay and hosts a variety of excellent amenities. Home to the 140-year old Busselton Jetty - the longest timber pier in the Southern Hemisphere, The Busselton Jetty boasts one of Western Australia’s most popular eco-tourism icons: the Underwater Observatory. The Busselton Beachfront is the perfect place for the whole family to enjoy a day by the bay!

Whilst you are there, visit the unique Underwater Observatory located at the end of the Busselton Jetty. You can enjoy the amazing experience of viewing the wide variety of marine life that live beneath the historical Jetty. Pre-book your tickets in summer as tours of this popular attraction regularly sell out!

Meelup - No visit the region is complete without a visit to this beautiful beach. Located near the 2007 Top Tourism Town Dunsborough, Meelup is protected by Geographe Bay and its serene waters attract many visitors. Meelup is an enchanting bay and provides the perfect setting for a family picnic with plenty of shade in the form of beautiful native trees. Facilities include excellent public change rooms, toilets and showers. There is also a coastal track which winds its way along the coast, allowing an exquisite view of the bay from a multitude of different vantage points. Meelup has a large car park to accommodate its many visitors and is often the setting of triathlons, due to its calm water, large hill and great mountain bike track. Located near Meelup are other beautiful bays including Eagle Bay, Castle Rock and Point Piquet.

Yallingup - Yallingup means the place of the love, and you will fall in love with this beautiful beach! A great spot for the whole family, with surfing available at the back of the reef, and a quiet lagoon for the less adventurous this a great spot to spend the day! Yallingup Beach has a playground, Barbeques, toilet block and plenty of car parking!

Margaret River - Most well known as a surfing destination, the beaches on this side of the coast are best for those with boards! Check out our surf page for some of the great surfing spots dotted right down the coast! In summer people flock to these beautiful beaches to enjoy the great waves and atmosphere.

Augusta - The coast near August is the perfect place to enjoy a range of water based activities- great for fishing and swimming, in the cooler months you can also hear the songs of the whales!
