TEA ROOMS

There is no better place to enjoy a relaxing cup of tea or coffee than our lovely Tea Rooms. Set in the pristine surroundings of Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park the Tea Rooms offer a perfect spot to unwind whilst enjoying stunning sweeping views.

Situated in one of the restored original Lighthouse Keeper's cottages, guests have the option of a cosy undercover seat inside during winter or enjoying the outdoor decking during the warmer months.

Top quality local coffee and tea is served and you can be further assured of exceptional quality beverages when only pristine natural rainwater is used.

The Cape Naturaliste Tea Rooms are Open from 9.30am-4.00pm daily. Closed Christmas Day. For information about holding your next function or event at the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse precinct telephone 9755 3955 or email lighthouse@geographebay.com

The revitalisation concept was developed specifically to create an environment that reflects and regains the significance and attractiveness of the historically significant Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse precinct. The Grand Opening of the Tea Rooms took place in February 2010.

New wheelchair accessible pathways and decking have been installed, ceilings have been replaced, floors stripped back and polished, new water tanks and filters installed, new fencing and gates erected and all surfaces stripped back and refinished.

A total of $230,000 has so far been spent revitalising the precinct with $100,000 contributed from the Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism Australia Tourism Development Program, $30,000 contributed by the South West Development Commission and $130,000 funded by the Geographe Bay Tourism Association.  The Geographe Bay Tourism Association (GBTA) is a not for profit, member based association who manages Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse, Ngilgi Cave and Busselton and Dunsbough Visitor Centres.

The GBTA has long term plans to further improve the precinct by installing more toilets and eventually converting another Lighthouse Keeper's cottage into a unique accommodation experience.
