Yallingup
Yallingup, according to local Wardandi legend is the ‘place of love.’ Today it is a seaside township, famous for the golden sands and crystal clear surf breaks of Yallingup, Smiths and Injidup Beaches. The coastline here is dramatic, said to inspire the many acclaimed local artisans in a range of artistic fields including photography, painting, sculpture, furniture design and jewellery.
Other than beach based activity, Yallingup is home to the historic Caves House Hotel and neighbouring Ngilgi Cave, as well as being within close proximity to a number of galleries, animal farms, mazes and spas. A range of accommodation from caravan parks to luxury retreats are scattered throughout Yallingup. Most additional facilities and services can be found just a short 9km drive away in Dunsborough.
